Baba Vanga, the Bulgarian prophetess and healer, adhered to a very specific way of life. It brought her longevity and wisdom.

With every person that put their trust in her, she shared the secret of how to overcome aging and live to incredibly old age. Nowadays, similar methods and drugs with which to achieve this are offered to us on a daily basis by scientists and companies.

The truth is there are plenty of means that would allow us a partial victory over time's effects. Yoga, physical activity, healthy eating, strength training and many other activities aid in this.

Baba Vanga shared her tips on longevity to journalists and the Russian TV network "Domashny" shared her valuable advice:

Drink tea from wild berries or herbs as much as possible. They are a source of health and purity.

Do not overeat - this leads to serious ailments that all organs suffer from.

Do not smoke cigarettes - they are devious and gradually ruin you.

Walk barefoot during the summer months. That way you will strengthen your ties with the mother Earth.

Love each other and do good. The best medicine is positive thinking.

Learn to rest properly. The day is designed for work, and the night - for sleep. Go to bed no later than 10 p.m. and get up at 5-6 in the morning.

During the summer months, kids should play as much as they want, splash each other with water, walk in the woods. This will protect them from falling ill during the winter.

Once a week, eat wheat that's been soaked in clean water. This purifies the body and fuels it with energy.

Health

Do not take medicine in excess - these synthetic treatments close the door which the natural forces use to enter by means of herbs.

Eat rye bread to maintain your health.

At night, before you go to bed, always wash your feet and shower if possible. Water washes away the grime and removes bad thoughts and negative energies.

Try to limit your intake of fat to a minimum.

More movement and more work. Inaction is a disease which ruins the body and soul.

To be healthy, it is best to gradually limit meat dishes in your diet and gradually give up meat.

Wash with water that is not too hot. Use homemade soap and natural methods that do not irritate the body.
