To sleep well, never place your bed facing a mirror. People who do sleep that way may get health problems.
The bed must be placed in such a way that the end with the pillow faces the most favorable direction for you. When lying in bed, the back part of your head must face a direction suitable for you.
This is something that you yourself must find out. If you lie down and feel any sort of discomfort, turn the bed in different directions until you feel that everything is okay.
Never arrange your bed in a way that points your feet toward the door or a window. Your head must not be by a wall that has a door. There must be nothing hanging above your head.
Do not put your bed between a window and a door. There must be no sources of electricity near your bed. The distance between you and an electrical outlet must be no less than 5 ft (1.5 m).
Do not put up chandeliers or large lamps above the bed. It is not recommended to put up pictures, shelves or large lamps above the door. Do not have too many plants in the bedroom, for they will disrupt your sleep.
Chimneys, fountains and aquariums are also not advised to be kept in the bedroom. If there is also a desk in your bedroom, arrange your bed so that you cannot see the desk when lying in it.
The bed must not be in the center of the room. On one side, there must be support and protection in the form of a wall. There must not be any boxes or unneeded things under the bed.
The space under the bed must be clean and empty. Arrange the furniture in your bed in such a way that the sharp edges do not point toward it. It is best to keep the bed in the corner farthest from the door.
You need to be able to see the door from bed. If there is a computer or TV in your room, cover them with a piece of fine cloth during the night. Do not place a small bed in a large bedroom, or vice versa.
If you live in a 2-story home, the bed must not be directly below or above the kitchen or bathroom. This disrupts the energy of your sleep and you may suffer from insomnia.
