The Engagement

The dream started at a beach. We were having fun then my mom and my dad called me. Then emerged this very handsome man and my parents told me that I am going to marry him. I recognized this man as my childhood friend(though not really in real life. I don't know why I recognized him in the dream as a childhood friend.

We're not even acquainted with each other. ) and so I agreed. We got engaged and I learned that he was going away for a while because he is a soldier. While he was getting his hair cut, I cut mine too to prove I love him. And then he went away and the dream ended. Please help me? What does this mean? Thank you very much for your help!
