Was it Really the Light?

Hello. Recently I read an article about how someone wanted to open up their third eye. I found this quite interesting and searched around on the web. I found an article describing an exercise that can help a person open op their third eye.

Later that night before falling asleep I remembered the exercise and decided to try it out. I imagined looking at myself and a new eye formed on my face, slowly opening.

At one point, these white rays of light appeared, pulling me, it was a fierce struggle since I had no idea where they were pulling me toward. I came to and woke up from this dream / meditation , not sure what to call it. Do you think it's that light that leads to heaven? Or maybe hell?
