The pilot of a commercial airliner Airbus А-320, reported to Great Britain's Civil Aviation Authority that in July 2013 he had a near miss with a UFO.
The danger of collision with an unidentified object occurred not far from London's Heathrow airport.
According to the pilot's readings, he noticed a UFO at a 6.2 mile (10 km) altitude, 20 miles (32 km) from Heathrow airport.
"An unidentified flying object, similar to a football, appeared a few yards in front of the cockpit of the airplane. It was a silver, metal construction, " claimed the pilot for the Daily Telegraph.
According to his testimony, the collision was avoided when the object suddenly gained altitude and flew over the airplane.
The event happened last year but only now did he gain the courage to speak openly about it.
The UK Airport Board is dealing with the investigation of the event, that investigates any cases of dangerous proximity between airplanes in British airspace.
There is now data that neither meteorologists nor military aircraft were in the area at the moment when the airplane passed by.
Since last year, the authorities of Great Britain have not ignored any reported cases of UFOs, even declassifying a large portion of government documents, containing eyewitness accounts of unknown objects on Earth.
In June 2013, 25 folders were disclosed, telling of UFO encounters in the period of 2007 - 2009.
Eyewitnesses have described alien crafts as a "silver shining disc", "bright round object", "green sphere with a white shining contour".
"A large object flew right above my home. The noise was extraordinary. I thought that a nuclear war had started, " testifies one of the witnesses.
Another eyewitness from Cardiff, claims that in 2007, extraterrestrials stole his dog, car and tent, while he was traveling with his friends out of town.
During the 50s of the 20th century, the authorities of Great Britain took the threat of aliens seriously, and this topic is still discussed in special meetings with the heads of the Special Forces.
