British research center began to train dogs in specializing the detection of reduced level of blood sugar in diabetic patients. The research center to open for the cancer and biological hazards with the help of dogs was created five years ago in Aylesbery.
Researchers from Queen's University in Belfast are interviewing 212 patient with diabetes. It turned out that 65 percent of them had dogs that began to whimper, whine or bark when their owner was threatened with hypoglycemia. This is a condition in which blood sugar can drop to very low levels.
The data members of the research center have started specialized training of dogs. Currently there are 17 Lae Stei prepared for representatives.
