People wanting to seek the truth about dreams more often will fall into the fascinating life of Edgar Cayce, an incredible man who healed the sick through his dreams. His teachings from back in history still to this day fascinate those who see the truth about dreaming.
Edgar Cayce believed that, "Dreams, visions, impressions, to the entity in the normal sleeping state are the presentations of the experiences necessary for the development, if the entity would apply them in the physical life. These may be taken as warnings, as advice, as conditions to be met, conditions to be viewed in a way and manner as lessons, as truths, as they are presented in the various ways and manners."
Edgar Cayce teaches us through his own beliefs that dreams are in fact a way into the spiritual world. He went to teach that it is a gate to allow visits with departed friends and relatives, an offer of solutions to health problems, and to pre-empt forth coming events.
Edgar Cayce reiterated his own beliefs that very dreamer on correct interpretation will receive their very own messages, warnings, advice and truth on physical body and health issues. As we know the higher power to be called God it is told that this is where the messages originate from. Kevin Todeschi, author of An Overview of the Edgar Cayce Material, tells that a person who dreamed he was eating a salad was told by Edgar Cayce that he needed to add salads to his diet.
Another dreamed of a car and was told that it symbolized the human body and the need to make a change to correct a physical condition. Many other health-related examples can be found in the readings.
Cayce often spoke of spirits of past beloved ones entering dreams, exactly how the Bible tells of angels speaking to people. He reveals to us that contact between the dead and living must not be seen as frightening experience and must not be feared. Souls who had once entered the Earth had to learn their final lessons in the Earth, Cayce also goes on to teach us that the spirits need the living to help through.
A man one day approached Cayce telling of his late parents entering his own dream and telling of his sisters suicide. Edgar Cayce replied. “This dream presents to the entity, through the mother and father both dead, the thoughts being entertained by the sister because of dissatisfaction to meet properly the conditions in her life. And as seen, the father and mother depend upon you to so instruct, to so direct, and to so counsel your sister. Give the sister spiritual counsel so that she may better understand, thereby enabling her to grow; otherwise, detrimental experiences will destroy her. Suicide is in her mind. Remember, too, that thoughts are deeds in the mental realm, and they increase or mar the activities of the higher self.
Deja Vu, as Cayce explains to us is the entity of a forgotten dream that has delivered the knowing of forth coming events. For the forty so years that Edgar Cayce practiced he persisted with teaching us that dreams do foretell important future events. He goes on to say “In the normal force of dreams are enacted those forces that may be the fore-shadow of condition, with the comparison by soul and spirit forces of the condition in various spheres through which this soul and spirit of the given entity has passed in its evolution to the present sphere. In this age, at present, 1923, there is not sufficient credence given dreams; for the best development of the human family is to give the greater increase in knowledge of the subconscious, soul or spirit world. This is a dream"
