There's something that just isn't right with human history. There are numerous artifacts and facts that fundamentally alter the historical notions about mankind's origins. However, these are often ignored by scientists. For example, Columbus didn't really discover America but our history books still say otherwise.

Many of today's cultures owe their origins to the Incas and Mayans but this is rarely mentioned. The history books have never been updated, even with the emergence of so much new archaeological evidence. For instance, you never hear that Nikola Tesla gave civilization one of mankind's greatest inventions. Here are 3 artifacts that scientists have stubbornly refused to acknowledge and which contradict mainstream archaeological views:

Egyptian hieroglyphs in Australia

Australian Hieroglyphs

They were discovered in Brisbane Water National Park, Australia. They are essentially numerous hieroglyphs, and if they were to ever be acknowledged for what they were would completely turn history on its head. Researchers are categorical that this is impossible and cannot possibly exist. The hieroglyphs in Australia are authentic, at least according to some scientists. But there are several ancient hieroglyphs and grammatical deviations in them, which were not even officially documented in the current Egyptian hieroglyph literature until the year 2012.

The Fuente Magna bowl

Fuente Magna

The controversial artifact was found near Tiwanaku - the location of one of the largest native civilizations that most people have never even heard of - and Lake Titicaca in South America. A local farmer came upon it back in 1950. The mystery concerns the written symbols on the bowl. On its interior there are Sumerian cuneiform and proto-Sumerian hieroglyphs visible. This is something that is impossible according to mainstream preconceptions. Even now it is believed that Tiwanaku and Puma Punku never had any connection. But the enigmatic Fuente Magna bowl is one of the most controversial. Young scientists are of the opinion that Fuente Magna was made by the Sumerians, who settled in Bolivia after 2500 BC. However, this completely contradicts the currently accepted views in archaeology and history that continue to claim that these ancient civilizations never had anything to do with one another.

A 15″ (38 cm) -long finger

The object was uncovered in Egypt and was documented in 1988. It is a mummified humanoid finger an impressive 15″ (38 cm) in length. Experts are adamant that for a finger of that size, the humanoid it belonged to would have had to have been at least 16.5 ft (5 m) tall. But since it doesn't fit into any conventional theory, researchers prefer not to mention it.
