I feel the presence of my deceased father

Hello, here is my story.
My dad died 1 year ago and I have dreamt of him in ordinary life situations. But in the last two months, something strange is happening. While sleeping, I feel a presence, like someone is in the room and I instinctively think of him. When I wake, there appears to be something like transparent steam, that disappears immediately. Or I fall asleep and see my father as if he was alive. I get startled and the shape disappears.
I do not know whether this is all just a dream, my fanciful imagination or so he is contacting me.

this is sort of normal,spirits ARE real and they can see you and if it is ur father u can feel maybe he is contacting u hopefully doing it well xox try to talk to him at niights and see if anything talks back and if it doesnt u tried ? xoxo

Your dad may be looking for your help. Get Catholic Masses offered for him. I have from time to time been aware of the presence of people in my room as I was praying for deceased people at night. But they disappear almost as quickly as I see them. Read about the concept of Purgatory. I have had numerous dreams of deceased people who sometimes tell who they are and dreams of dead relatives. All they may need is one prayer or a Mass and their suffering will be ended and they will return to God. The Mass is the most powerful act we can gift to the deceased.

i work in a nursing home and have seen some amazing things in the dead and dying. i firmly believe that your father is still with you in spirit. talk to him as if he were still alive. you will learn much.
