I Keep Hearing Strange Sounds at Home

For 3 months I've been hearing sounds in the same apartment we've been living in for 15 years. To be specific, I've been hearing them in the kitchen and bathroom only, where I had not been hearing such in the past. When we're in the kitchen at night, you can hear them several times, then when I'm alone during the day I hear them coming from the bathroom.

I don't know what to do, I'm afraid of staying home alone. I always keep the TV on, else I can't stay calm. The sounds aren't coming from the neighbors because I can clearly hear the sharp sounds in the actual room. They're even louder when they're coming from the bathroom. Any theories as to what these could be and what we should do? Thanks.
