For long years, the secrets of the ancient Egyptians have sparked the curiosity of researchers. It is uncertain whether they're just legends or real historical facts. One of the most popular myths surrounds the Book of Thoth.

Some believe that the Egyptian civilization preserved the heritage of the Atlanteans - a race of demigods that inhabited the Earth before humans. From the Atlanteans, the Egyptians may have learned many of their esoteric practices and rituals, the ones we know of today.

Their spiritual knowledge supposedly surpassed that of other peoples', while according to some legends the very roots of this ancient knowledge came from the god Thoth, also known as Hermes Trismegistus.

Thoth was the first philosopher and researcher of ancient mysteries. Egyptian mythology holds that he introduced letters, numbers, arts and the desire for self-improvement to the people.

It was said that he received his knowledge through deep meditation and during trances. He wrote everything down in the Book of Thoth, which the Egyptians believed revealed the secrets of the Universe, including occult abilities of the human brain, such as telepathy and telekinesis.

The Book of Thoth contains detailed accounts in the fields of medicine, chemistry, philosophy, the arts and magic. According to a legend, if one were able to unravel its secrets, they would become master of the entire world.

Ancient Egypt

The book was lost years ago, while some researchers doubt it ever even existed. The Egyptians believed that it was taken to the astral plane and no matter how hard they tried to find it, they would fail, for it was no longer located in the physical world. To get to it, one would have to use their consciousness.
