Do you remember the time when you were a kid and wanted to go outside - in front of the house or building and to play with the other kids? It was as if nothing else existed back then but the desire to play and heaps of energy.

Of course, rules are rule - you might have heard someone call you to get back home, a clear sign that the time for play was over and that it would be best to get home right away.

In other words - not to have to be called a second time, because if you didn't meet your curfew, there might be a danger of you not being allowed to play with the other kids tomorrow.

Good times - you're little, carefree, you socialize with lots of kids, get to know them, create the first friendships.


But how do today's kids have fun? Not that you still can't hear the occasional "Come home now! " but it's as if they are quite rarer.

With the new technologies that have flooded us, kids almost don't play with each other. Actually, they do play, but not in the way we understand playtime - instead of outside in the street, they use a computer game, and instead of a ball or rope - a computer mouse.

Times change and only time will show how good this actually is. It turns out that 36% of children between the ages of 8 and 14, communicate much more often using a computer, instead of face to face.


That is what the results of a new study have shown, which was done with the participation of 2000 kids. These results are a clear sign that we are now witnesses to a new generation, which mostly communicates virtually and very rarely face to face.

According to the data from the study, every 1 in 4 children prefers to spend its time with a tablet or computer, instead of playing outside with the other children. About one fifth of parents are aware of this fact.

Because of these changes, today's kids are more focused on various subjects that kids in the past did not see as important. Results show that around 54% of children are concerned whether or not they are eating healthy.

Every 1 in 10 children demands that its mother and father buy it healthier food. According to the study, around 12% of the kids 14 years old and younger have been on a diet at least once.
