"While most of us are still sleepy after 7-8 hours of sleep, little Ever needs just about 1 hour of sleep per day, while some nights not even sleeping at all and still being full of energy, " writes the Daily Mirror.

The little girl has been diagnosed with the rare condition called Angelman Syndrome. It is a genetic disorder that affects the nervous system, characterized by slowed mental and physical development, as well as very little need for sleep.

Other symptoms include random outbursts of laughter, seizures, difficulties walking, speaking and sudden shaking. Those suffering from the disorder are sometimes called "angels" due to the happy demeanor they constantly radiate.

Thanks to this ability, they can easily get along with others without having to say much and build harmonious relations with their parents.

Ever's parents, Robin Audette and Kirk Hisko are forced to take turns keeping watch on their little girl throughout the night. They consider themselves lucky if they manage to sleep 4 hours a night.

They say, however, that anyone who has ever met Ever immediately takes a liking to her - you just can't look at her and not smile.

"It's unbelievable how she doesn't sleep all night sometimes and is still smiling and alert the next day, " says her 35-year-old mother.

Robin goes to work at the family restaurant in Ontario, Canada while her 40-year-old husband keeps Ever company. They've even created a You Tube channel, Hisko Family Fun, where they share the best moments of the day with the extraordinary little girl.

The family learned of their daughter's condition when she was 2 years old. They immediately began therapy with a psychologist and are on a waiting list to see some of the best neurologists.
