The mummy of an extraterrestrial creature, more than 3000 years old, was found near Nebra, Germany, report foreign press.
The discovery was made in Northern Germany, not far from the site where scientists came upon the mysterious sky disk from Nebra.
The strange creature appears to be a cross between a human and some other being, which came into existence more than 3000 years ago. Researchers suggest that the mummified body once belonged to an extraterrestrial.
The mummy is 41 3/4″ (106 cm) tall and has no reproductive organs, at least according to the initial inspection of the experts.
The Nebra sky disk, which was found in June 2001 in the Saxony-Anhalt province, is the oldest depiction of the heavens found so far.
Examination done using radio carbon analysis dates the unique image to around 3600 years.
Archaeologists believe that it was buried during one of the ancient rituals done to appease the gods.
The Nebra sky disk weighs 4.5 lb (2 kg) and its diameter is 11 3/4″ (30 cm). Its surface is covered with golden ornamentation, depicting the sky at night, the sun, crescents and the Pleiades star cluster.
Experts suppose that the ancients were attempting to portray a lunar or solar eclipse on the one-of-a-kind disk.
